Over the past 30 years, the National Coalition for Educational and Cultural Programs has served the early childhood and educational communities in a variety of ways, such as creating and offering professional development workshops and trainings, running a reuse & recycle center, providing children’s programs, coordinating a wide variety of cultural events, and supporting other educational programs through our donations. For approximately 20 of those years, we were also able to award more than 30 scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing careers in the field of education or environmental studies.
However, we have recently come to the difficult conclusion that after more than 30 years, it is time to “close our doors.” The dynamics of the early learning and childcare industry have changed dramatically since the NCECP was incorporated in 1991 and even more since the COVID years. We will be accepting our final distance education students on June 15, 2023.
We are extremely grateful for the many people who have supported our organization over the years: board members, volunteers, program participants, community businesses, and many more.
Perhaps most importantly, our instructors, past and present, have played a huge part in the success of the organization. Through distance education, onsite workshops, and other training events, their professionalism, knowledge, and skills have positively impacted hundreds of students over the years.
Thank you all for your support,
National Coalition for Educational and Cultural Programs
